With a career spanning four decades, he started by working in publishing as a graphic designer and artworker. Progressing on to become magazine and book design Art Editor. Gerard then moved into the world of advertising agencies, building up an extensive portfolio working for various clients such as the BBC, Dell, Toyota, Siemens, RAC, Cable & Wireless and many more other international companies.

He later founded his own design company and now specialises working for clients around the globe, collaborating on large-scale exhibition and interior design projects as a creative director and events designer.

But art has always stayed with him and he remains engaged with working on new fine art projects alongside his other design commitments.
